Now, just in time before the curious trial against The Pirate Bay takes off, it might be appropriate to add something else to the file-sharing debate.
It’s all a bizarre circus that the RIAA and MPAA and their counterparts in various regions have created, in my opinion, but you know what? Any person who feels inclined, can walk away from the madness of copyright infringements we are in the middle of. Another world is possible – whether your motive is to get hold of creative works or not.
So, walk away from the illegal file-sharing. Do it!
To read about the Brightnet that makes this possible, read the introduction to OFF System at Wikipedia. The OFF System is a mathematically interesting file system, which lets small chunks of data represent a theoretically infinite number of creative works. It’s all just brilliant – how come this is still not widely known?

It is also notable that OFF Corps plans to create a directory of public domain works and make them accessible through OFF System.
